Hong Kong soil map

The map will focus on geomorphological mapping and the formation of material processes, a terraforming of Hong Kong, an exploratory map or a navigation map of terrestrial transformations. In this map, we will situate Hong Kong in a planetary dimension with the lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere by multiplying, juxtaposing and mixing ‘reference planes’ (plan, section, axonometry). Therefore, the map will raise awareness of Hong Kong’s metabolic rift, i.e. examine the desynchronisation of terrestrial and human times and cycles, soil depletion and importation, new soils, etc.
